Packing instructions

  • Please pack all items into one package and seal the parcel with the adhesive tape.
  • The parcel should be packed so that it would be impossible to access the content without damaging the outer package. Thus you will secure the content in the course of transportation.
  • Please write the names of the receiver and the sender of the parcel and their telephone numbers.
  • It is especially important to write the correct receiver’s mobile phone number, for this is where the parcel terminal door unlocking code will be sent to.
  • Minimum dimensions: 12 cm * 9 cm * 1 cm
  • Maximum dimensions: 60 cm * 60 cm * 60 cm
  • Maximum weight: 25 kg

Parcel sending

  • Please take the parcel that you want to send and head to the nearest shopping center that has a parcel terminal. Locations of the parcel terminals can be found here.
  • You may pay for sending with your bank card so remember to take your card with you.
  • (You can find locations and respective business hours of the parcel terminals in the upper menu: PARCEL TERMINAL LOCATIONS).
  • Please go to your parcel terminal, follow the on screen instructions and pay with your bank card.
  • NB! In the parcel terminal locker, you can put only one parcel.

Reception

  • Immediately after the parcel has arrived to the destination terminal, a text message will be sent to the parcel recipient's mobile phone.
  • Parcel receiver will come to the parcel terminal, enter the received door code and the respective door will open up.

SUITABLE PACKING and LIABILTIY OF SMARTPOST 

  • The outer package can sustain a drop from height of 80 cm.
  • Liquids do not leak out of the containers designed for their transport.
  • The containers for transportation of liquids and powders are hermetically closed and the containers themselves are packaged into a durable transportation package (corrugated cardboard, plastic box, wooden box, etc.).
  • The content of the parcel is packaged so, that the content cannot be accessed without damaging the outer package.
  • Fragile objects are packaged using necessary accessories (corner enforcements, softening, filling material etc.).
  • Package is not too large for the good.
  • The package can stand a load of 4-5 similar parcels on top of it.

LIABILTIY OF SMARTPOST
* SmartPOST is liable for damages to or loss of the parcel according to the CMR convention and the Law of Obligations up to 8,33 SDR for every gross weight kilogram of the damaged or lost shipment. SDR is a unit of account of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and its value is dependent on the published rate.
* SmartPOST does not compensate any indirect losses of unearned profits.
* All claims and reclamations regarding damaged or lost shipments need to be submitted by the client to SmartPOST in writing.
* If damage to the goods was impossible to determine by the recipient during the regular course of parcel reception, the Client may submit a claim or reclamation to SmartPOST within seven (7) calendar days after delivery of the parcel to the recipient.
* SmartPOST has the right to demand that the client delivers the damaged parcel for the purposes of investigation.
